Travel Survey Begins in Brčko: Where Did You Travel Last Year?
The Agency for Statistics of BiH (BHAS), in cooperation with the entity statistical institutes, is conducting a survey on private and business travel of residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Brčko District area, from 24 April to 16 May.

Authorised interviewers will visit 864 randomly selected households and speak with residents about their travel during the previous year. We are interested in where and why you travelled, how long you stayed, what you saw, and how you planned and organised your trips. A specific part of the survey focuses on travel expenses — including transport, accommodation, food and beverages, entrance fees, and other similar costs. In addition, basic sociodemographic data will be collected to provide a more comprehensive picture of tourism habits and travel patterns among the population of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Your answers are anonymous and protected by law
All data shared during the survey will be used exclusively for statistical purposes. They will be processed with the highest level of confidentiality, in accordance with the Law on Statistics of BiH and the Law on Personal Data Protection — which means that anonymity and privacy protection are fully guaranteed.
The information collected through this survey is extremely valuable and forms a vital basis for quality analysis and the development of public policies related to travel and tourism.
The Agency for Statistics of BiH sincerely thanks all citizens for their continued cooperation and contribution to this important statistical activity.
