In accordance with Eurostat’s methodology, a portion of the sample will be subject to repeated household interviews. This repeated data collection is necessary to monitor changes that occur within a household between survey waves, with the aim of identifying long-term poverty and tracking other socio-economic characteristics.

The Survey on Income and Living Conditions (SILC) 2025 is a study conducted in private households. The aim of this survey is to collect data on income, poverty, social exclusion, material deprivation, socio-economic characteristics of individuals, and living conditions. The data will be used to obtain key social indicators at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its entities. The survey is conducted on a randomly selected sample of households.

The SILC 2025 survey will be carried out across the entire territory of BiH during the period from May to July 2025. It will be conducted in the field by authorised and trained interviewers, engaged by the official statistical institutions in BiH.

All collected data are confidential and, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Statistics of BiH (Official Gazette of BiH nos. 26/04 and 42/04), will be used exclusively for statistical purposes.
