Labour Cost Survey
Between 13 October and 31 December 2025, Bosnia and Herzegovina will conduct the Labour Cost Survey (LCS), which is carried out every four years. The survey will be implemented by the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federal Office of Statistics, and the Republika Srpska Institute of Statistics.
The purpose of the Labour Cost Survey is to obtain internationally comparable data on wages and other labour costs incurred by employers for their employees. The survey examines these costs from the employer’s perspective, rather than that of employee income, providing valuable insight for employers and policymakers into the level and structure of labour costs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The reference year for which data will be collected within the Labour Cost Survey is 2024. The results of the survey will be published in December 2026.
All collected data are confidential and, in accordance with Article 23 of the Law on Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of BiH, nos. 26/04 and 42/04), will be used exclusively for statistical purposes.
The Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina will inform the business entities selected from the Brčko District about their participation in the survey.
