The survey on private and business trips made in 2025 begins
The Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the entity statistical institutes, is conducting a survey on private and business travel of residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, data collection will take place from 17 April to 4 May 2026.
The survey will be carried out by interviewers accredited by the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, covering a sample of 864 randomly selected households in the Brčko District. In addition to socio-demographic characteristics, the survey collects data on the number and features of overnight and same-day trips, travel purposes, duration of travel, destinations visited, travel habits, and total expenditure. This includes average spending on transport, accommodation, food and beverages, entrance fees, and other related costs, as well as additional characteristics of the population.
The Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina guarantees that all responses will be treated in strict confidence, in accordance with the Law on Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Law on Personal Data Protection. All respondents will remain fully anonymous. Citizens are kindly invited to actively cooperate in the implementation of this important statistical activity.
