The pilot census will cover a total of 16 enumeration areas across Bosnia and Herzegovina: five in the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, six in the Municipality of Čelić, and five in the City of Bijeljina.

The purpose of the pilot census is to test the methodology, organisational arrangements, questionnaires, and information technology solutions that will be used during the future Census of Agriculture in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Data will be collected through direct interviews with holders and members of agricultural holdings using electronic questionnaires on tablet devices (CAPI method).

For the information of the public, we would like to emphasise that authorised enumerators do not request personal identification documents, and that all collected data are used exclusively for statistical purposes. The data are confidential, protected by law, and cannot be used for tax, inspection, or any other administrative purposes.

We kindly ask citizens in the areas covered by the pilot census for their cooperation and understanding, as their participation will contribute to the successful preparation and implementation of the future Census of Agriculture in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
