The fifth wave of updating the statistical master sample frame in BiH

The updating will be conducted by the listing of selected households (primary sampling units, according to the defined methodology prepared by three statistical institutions in BiH. The questionnaire contains questions about the name and surname, sex, date of birth, occupancy status of the dwellings, educational attainment, and similar. The listing is conducted quarterly, and the updating activity is foreseen to last over the course of three years in total, with an already defined structure and the number of enumeration areas.

Trained enumerators and controllers will conduct the listing; they will have appropriate accreditations with them.

Please note that during the listing, in order to protect the health of enumerators and respondents in the field. the enumerators will apply recommended measures such as the mandatory wearing of protective face-masks in indoor places or outdoor spaces if it is not possible to maintain the prescribed distance of 2 meters.

Due to the importance of this project, the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina calls on the population to cooperate actively in the implementation of this important survey. The Agency guarantees that, in accordance with the law on statistics and law on the protection of personal data, the answers to questions will be strictly confidential, and collected data will be used for statistical purposes only.
