Research on the Travels of the Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The survey will be conducted in the period from 25th March to 7th April on the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the representative sample of 4.050 randomly selected households, of which 1.700 form Federation BiH, 1.700 from Republika Srpska and 650 from Brčko District BiH.

During the research, survey staff accredited by the Agency for Statistics of BiH, the Institute for Statistics of FBiH and the RS Institute of Statistics will collect data on the number and characteristics of multi-day and one-day trips of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the reasons for their trips, what destinations they visit, how long do they stay on trips and how much they spend on average, as well as other characteristics of the BiH population.

The statistical institutions in Bosna and Hercegovina guaranty that, in accordance with Law on Statistics in BiH and Law on Personal Data Protection answers to the questions will be kept strictly confidential, the respondents will stay animus and plead the citizens for active cooperation in the realization of this important activity.
