According to Eurostat methodology, within the Survey on Income and Living Conditions 2023, a repeated household survey is being conducted on a subset of the sample from the first wave (year 2022) to track changes that have occurred within a household between the two survey waves. This is done to observe the occurrence of persistent poverty and monitor other socio-economic characteristics.

The goal of this research is to collect data on income, poverty, social exclusion, material deprivation, individual socio-economic characteristics, and living conditions. The data will be used to obtain key social indicators at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its entities. The survey is being conducted until the end of July 2023 on a randomly selected sample of households.

The survey will be conducted by authorized and trained interviewers, engaged by the official statistical institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The collected data is confidential and will be used solely for statistical purposes in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of BiH No. 26/04 and 42/04).
