Survey on Private and Business Trips in 2023 is Beginning Conducted
The Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the entity statistical institutes, is conducting a survey on private and business trips of residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the reference year 2023. The survey will be carried out in the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina from June 6 to June 30, 2024.
The survey will be conducted by interviewers accredited by the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina on a sample of 850 randomly selected households in the Brčko District of BiH. The survey will collect data on the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents, the number and characteristics of multi-day and single-day trips, reasons for traveling, duration of trips, visited destinations, travel habits of the residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and overall expenditure (average travel costs, including transportation costs, accommodation, food and beverages, tickets, etc.).
The Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina guarantees that the responses to the survey questions will be strictly confidential, in accordance with the Law on Statistics of BiH and the Law on Protection of Personal Data. Respondents will remain completely anonymous. Citizens are requested to actively cooperate in the implementation of this important statistical activity in BiH.
