The Survey on Private and Business Trips for 2022
The Agency for Statistics of BiH, in cooperation with the entity statistical institutes, is conducting a Survey on Private and Business Trips of the inhabitants of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be conducted in the area of Brčko District of BiH in the period from 8 to 22 December 2022.
The survey will be conducted by survey staff accredited by the Agency for Statistics of BiH, in the area of Brčko District of BiH on a sample of 846 selected households. In addition to the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents, the Survey collects data on the number and characteristics of multi-day and one-day trips, reasons for trips, duration of trips, destinations visited, travel habits of the inhabitants of Bosnia and Herzegovina, total consumption (average expenses on trips including travel expenses, costs of accommodation, food and drinks, entrance fees, etc.) and other characteristics of the population in BiH.
The Agency for Statistics of BiH guarantees that, in accordance with the Law on Statistics of BiH and the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, the answers to the survey questions will be strictly confidential, that the respondents will remain completely anonymous, and citizens are asked for active cooperation in the implementation of this important statistical activity in BiH.
